With a record of 2-5, the Raiders Boys Swimming and Diving team have had a very competitive start to their season. This team is led by long time coach Mike Steineman ’92, who is in his 28th year with the team.  Starting this year, CDH has a Co-op team with the Math and Science Academy school located in Woodbury. They have contributed three new swimmers to the team. Coach Steineman said “They have been a wonderful addition to our team!” 

The two Captains, Finn Dougherty ‘24 and Matt Baumberger ‘24, have been leading the way for this Raider team. Finn Dougherty ‘24 competes in the 50 Freestyle as well as the 100 Breaststroke. As for Matt Baumberger '24  he has excelled in the 200 IM and the 100 Fly. 

When asked who stands out to him the most on the team, Coach Steineman credited his seniors,  saying “Our seniors stand out. They are great leaders for this team and do a great job of building a fun culture while putting in the time and energy to work hard when necessary.” The seniors of this team are Nate Leber ‘24, Matt Baumberger ‘24, Finn Dougherty ’24, and Joseph Ayalew from MSA.
