A Camp for the Complete Soccer Player!


Join the Cretin-Derham Hall girls and boys varsity coaching staff for a soccer camp that will develop you as a complete soccer player--technically, tactically, and mentally.

Whether looking for your first taste of soccer at the high school varsity level, or looking for the best intensive training for the high school season, this camp will prepare you to perform.

Each day of camp will feature:

  • Daily technical focus - 1.5 hours
  • Mental strategies and training - 30-45 minutes
  • Small-sided or big field play - 30-45 minutes

June 19 - June 22, 2017

Incoming 9th -- 12th graders : 9am - 12pm

6th -- 8th graders : 12:30pm - 3pm

$100 per player -- includes a camp t-shirt & daily snacks


Team Information

The fall sports meeting for Boy's Soccer is Monday, August 7th, 6:30 p.m. in the Joe Mauer Field House and should be attended by parent(s)/guardian(s) and student-athlete.

Captains' practices will begin Monday, July 31st.

2017 Season begins: August 14th, 2017. Try outs are 10am-12pm on the turf field.

CDH Boys Soccer consists of five teams: varsity, junior varsity, B squad, and two ninth grade teams. The varsity season begin Monday, August 15th, 2016 with tryouts. The varsity season is 12 weeks in length in which the team will play 2 to 3 games per week. The varsity team tryouts are open to boys grades 9-12.  JV, B and 9th grade season begin Wednesday, August 17th, 2016 with tryouts. The JV, B and 9th grade seasons are 10 weeks in length with 2-3 games per week. All levels will have practices and games on Saturdays. Practices are held after school anytime between 3:15-8:30pm except Fridays which begin at 2:45.  

Ideally, there are 20 players on a soccer team. When numbers exceed this, for any team, cuts may be made. Previous soccer experience is necessary when trying out for soccer teams.Cretin-Derham Hall Boys Soccer teams practice on the Wingerd Turf Field and Carondelet grass fields across the street from school.
