With Prince's Purple Rain playing in the background members of the boys' and girls' Cross Country team and their coaches, danced, rang cowbells, and handed out cups of water in the rain during the Rock the Pavement event on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Lake Calhoun.

It wasn't the warmest or driest of mornings, but we had fun cheering and supporting the runners who ventured forth from the starting line to race either 5K or 10K around Lake Calhoun in Minneapolis.
