The 2016 season of Cretin-Derham Hall Boys Soccer kicked off with an exciting, extra-time, come from behind victory over DeLaSalle which only served as a hint of what was to come.  Led by eleven seniors, the Raiders battled a strong schedule and finished as Champions of the Suburban East Conference and claimed the second seed in the Section 3AA playoffs.  Ultimately the season would end with a section semi-final playoff loss to St. Paul Central.  Senior Forward Shane Furlong and Senior Midfielder Ben Santos Meeker were named to the All-State Team. In addition to those two were joined by Sophomore Midfielder Shiferaw Williamson, Senior Defender Ben Bailey, and Senior Goalkeeper David Bedford in earning Suburban East All-Conference Honors.  This team accomplished many goals throughout the season and laid the foundation for the establishment of a successful program.
