Last week, Cretin-Derham Hall celebrated its annual Homecoming Week, filled with themed dress-up days, school spirit, and student-centered events. One of the most anticipated highlights was the 2025–26 Activities Fair, held Wednesday during FLEX in the Griep Family Gymnasium.
This year’s Activities Fair was the largest in school history, with 73 student clubs and organizations setting up booths to recruit new members. The gym was filled to capacity as students explored the diverse and growing list of co-curricular offerings at CDH.
“I was extremely impressed not only with the turnout, but also with the number of students showing interest in the robust options we provide at CDH,” said Tony Yazbeck, Activities Director. “We’ve grown our offerings greatly in the last few years. We want students to have a voice and be empowered by something that inspires them.”
One of the standout additions this year was Girls Flag Football, which quickly gained traction. 88 students signed up to express interest in joining the first year team, which will begin competing this spring under the leadership of longtime teacher and coach Chad Anderson.
