The Boys Basketball team has been on a roll this season. Currently posting a 12-2 overall record and sitting at the top of the Suburban East Conference with a conference record of 9-0, the Raiders have also earned a state ranking of #7 in Class AAAA.

The team has picked up many important wins this season, including the revenge game they had against state ranked East Ridge by a score of 73-68, after falling to them in the Section 4AAAA semi-final last year. The Raiders have also defeated Park of Cottage Grove, Irondale, #11 AAAA Maple Grove, rival St. Thomas Academy, #2AA Holy Family, Roseville, #15AAAA Woodbury, White Bear Lake and most recently a win at #12AAAA Mounds View on January 16.

This Raider team is full of young talent but also led by a strong group of upperclassmen. JoJo Mitchell ‘26, Monteff Dixon ‘25, and Miles Bollinger ‘24 are currently the team’s leading scorers, while the floor general Anthony Knight ‘24 is leading this team in assists. Aidan Macke ‘24 is another Raider starter who is a strong 3-Point shooter, and can make clutch shots at any time.

The real game changer for CDH comes from the depth of this squad, which is one of the best in the Suburban East Conference. Players such as Jason Johnson ‘26, Keishion Jarmon ‘26 and Isaiah Thom ‘26 are key pieces for this Raider team  to make game changing plays. There’s much to look forward to for the class of 2026 on this Raider Squad.

Coach Jerry Kline ‘93 and his staff have done a fantastic job of coaching and developing these players. Kline’s long term success as a player and coach at CDH has earned him a spot on Mancini's Hall of Fame class of 2024.

There’s a lot to look forward to if you’re a fan of the boys basketball team. CDH opened a three game home stand in which they defeated the Stillwater Ponies 78-67 on January 19 and the Forest Lake Rangers 67-58 on January 24. Park Cottage Grove visits CDH on January 26. Tip-off  is scheduled for 7 pm from the Joe Mauer Field House.

Fans can expect this Raider team to make a run to the state tournament this year. The future is as bright as it can get for this group of Raiders hoopers.
