The Raiders Boys Hockey team is making headlines this season with a current record of two wins and two losses. The team's recent success includes a thrilling victory against Forest Lake High School, showcasing their determination and skill on the ice.

In that game, CDH showed their resilience after a slow start, securing a hard earned 4-0 win against Forest Lake. “This team will continue to improve each game.” said Matt Funk, Raiders Head Coach. “We lost some key players to graduation last season, but these kids have been rapidly improving with each game played.”

Leading the charge in the goals department are Nate Chorlton ’26 and Max Anderson ’26, both with an impressive two goals each. Their scoring prowess has proven instrumental in the Raiders' offensive strategy, providing a solid foundation for the team's success.

Not to be overshadowed, Cam Autrey ’26 and Marcus Matyas ’27 have emerged as key playmakers for the Raiders. Tied with three assists each, Autrey and Matyas showcase their ability to set up scoring opportunities and contribute to the team's overall cohesion. Their teamwork and strategic vision have become crucial elements in the Raiders' recent victories.

Looking forward, the excitement continues as the Raiders gear up for their two next games. Scheduled to play at 7 pm on December 21 and December 22, they travel to the TCO Sports Garden to take on Mounds View and then will face rival St.Thomas Academy at Aldrich Arena in a rematch of last year’s section championship, which the Raiders won 4-2.

With a promising season unfolding, CDH boys hockey is proving to be a force to be reckoned with once again. Funk added “We look forward to playing our best hockey in March.”
