The CDH Girls golf team has enjoyed a great season, finishing up with the Final Conference Tournament at Oak Glen on May 18.  Lily Vincelli ’24 has been a tremendous leader on and off the course, finishing first in conference matches and securing the individual first place medal for the Suburban East Conference Champion.

“It’s very exciting,” said Vincelli. “I love this team and to be able to win the conference championship is very special.”

“It’s been a great season with a lot of positivity on the golf course from the Varsity and JV teams. The girls were determined to compete in the conference and support one another,” added Raider head coach Megan Smith ’00. “Everyone was prepared and focused and I give all the credit to the entire team and coaches for their dedication throughout the season.  The way the team balanced their academic coursework while attending practices, workouts, and conference matches was amazing!”

The CDH Varsity team (Vincelli, Lauren Bengtson ‘24, Else Wermager ‘24, Ava Redpath ‘23, Lily Anderson ‘23, and Katie Votel ‘23) now heads to sectional playoffs June 1 and 2 at Goodrich Golf Course with tee times starting at 9am. The state tournament will take place on June 13 and 14 at Bunker Hills in Coon Rapids.

Good luck to the Raiders!!
