The Girls Hockey Team recently picked up a shutout win against Eastview, giving Head Coach Tony Scheid his 300th career coaching win. The team’s season kicked off on November 12th and has played in four games thus far this season.

The shutout win shows what the team is capable of and will spark momentum going into the majority of the season remaining. Having their most recent game as the best performance this season shows the growth of the team over the last month.

The team traveled to Warroad in the preseason to play scrimmages and experience team bonding before the season began. The season will run into February, competing in twenty-five regular season matches.

The team features players from all four grade levels led by captains Meredith Anfang ’23 and Lilly Anderson ’23, offering both experience and youth on the rink. The team has shown great promise at times this season and will look to score goals and play great defense this winter season.

CDH plays Roseville tonight at 7 at Roseville Ice Arena before closing out this week on the road against Blake on Saturday at 2 pm.
