Ari Evans '22 Wins Athena Award

Each spring, high schools across St. Paul nominate an outstanding female athlete for the Athena award. Now in its 28th year, the St. Paul Area Athena Awards honors female athletes for their dedication and excellence in sports. 

This year, Ari Evans '22 is CDH's winner!

Evans is a three sport athlete competing in Girls Soccer, Girls Hockey and Girls Lacrosse. Evans also has excelled in the classroom with an impressive 4.04 GPA.

The award winners will be honored at a luncheon on April 20th at the Vadnais Heights Commons at 11:00 AM. The keynote speaker for the Athena Awards Ceremony is Nicole M. LaVoi, Ph.D., Director, the Tucker Center for Research on Girls & Women in Sport Senior Lecturer, School of Kinesiology University of Minnesota.  KARE 11 –TV News anchor Randy Shaver will again emcee this year’s ceremony honoring each young woman and her specific achievements.
