After an incredible season placing 6-3 in the conference, the Raiders placed 3rd in the section meet and are sending 12 athletes to state: seven qualifiers and five alternates. The Girls Swim and Dive team has been training and competing since August 16 and are ready to swim their way through the state meet. These girls have not only achieved success in the pool, but have been leaders across the board in the halls and classrooms of CDH.

“We couldn’t be more proud of their dedication to learning, competing and being strong role models here at CDH,” said Head Coach Lisa Thomas.  “With a team of 47 athletes, these girls have swam and dove their way through amazing accomplishments during their dual season, JV Conference, Section Prelims, Section Finals, and now on to State!”

The team also achieved major success in the classroom as well earning the highest Academic Award of Gold Status in our Section with a group GPA of 3.78.

Coach Thomas was also named Section Co-Coach of the Year! A tremendous accomplishment for the second year coach and a true testament to the program she is building.
