To celebrate our coaches who also teach or are staff at CDH, we're sharing a Q&A with each of them over the next few months! Today, meet Tony Yazbeck, Boys Basketball Coach and Business teacher.

Did you participate in the sport you coach as a student-athlete?
Yes I did. I played three sports in high school.

What made you decide to coach?
Love for the game and wanting to work with kids.

How long have you been coaching here at CDH?
10 years

What do you love about coaching?
The ability to make an impact with kids.

How does your experience as a coach improve your teaching and vice versa?
It helps to understand the different facets of the students' and athletes' lives.

Do you have any favorite memories from your time coaching?
Great relationships, winning championships and seeing students turn into productive adults.
