Spectator Rules Announced for Winter Sports

Winter sports have arrived! On January 4, all CDH winter sports returned to play. Both hockey and basketball programs will be required to play with a mask as live competition begins next week.

Many questions have come regarding fans attending games. This week the Suburban East Conference released their attendance guidelines. All spectators will be required to wear masks.

Boys/Girls Alpine and Nordic Skiing

●  Spectators are not allowed per facility guidance.

Boys/Girls Basketball

●  Spectators for lower level games (9 and B) will be limited to home family members only. Spectators will be limited to two per family, with an exception of four for blended families.

●  Spectators for junior varsity and varsity level games will be limited to home and away family members. Spectators will be limited to two per family, with an exception of four for blended families.

●  CDH will sell season passes to families. Individual game tickets will also be available.

Dance

●  TBD based on further information forthcoming 

Gymnastics

●  Forest Lake and White Bear Lake are the only schools of the SEC that will be able to host spectators, home and away, based upon facility parameters. Spectators will be limited to two per family, with an exception of four for blended families.

●  Admission will be charged on site at those two member schools on site the night of meets, cost will be $5 per person.

Boys/Girls Hockey

●  Spectators will be limited to home and away family members. Spectators will be limited to two per family, with an exception of four for blended families.

●  CDH will sell season passes to families. Individual game tickets will also be available. 

 Boys Swim and Dive

●  Spectators are not allowed. The deck space and bleacher areas are needed to properly social distance the student-athletes. Only essential meet workers/volunteers will be allowed in attendance.

Wrestling

●  Spectators will be limited to home and away family members. Spectators will be limited to two per family, with an exception of four for blended families.

●  Specific member school facilities parameters may lessen seating capacity. CDH will keep families informed of any specific limitations at away meets.

●  Admission will be charged on site by each host member school the day/night of meets, cost will be $5 per person.
