Cretin-Derham Hall is pleased to announce the hiring of Lisa Thomas as the new Girls' Swimming and Diving Coach.

Thomas brings years of experience coaching group swimming in the CAA. She has coached over 1400 swimmers on the Nativity swim team over the past 7 years, kindergarteners through 8th grade.

The experience of coaching a team of great size and age range has inspired Thomas to continue coaching kids into their high school years.

"I am excited to see young athletes continue their swimming careers as high schoolers and share their great gifts as swimmers and good people," she added. "I have loved working with them on training, goal setting, balancing school and swim, and being strong members of their community!"

"I look forward to guiding this team as a swim family to support one another through the dedication that swimming demands and coach a season filled with perseverance, hard work, teamwork, and fun."

Thomas swam at the University of St Thomas as a sprinter in the 50 and 100 freestyle and 100 breaststroke.  She graduated from St. Thomas with a degree in elementary education and has been teaching for about 20 years, most recently as a 5th grade teacher at Nativity of our Lord.

Thomas and her husband Lou have three daughters, two of whom will be attending CDH In the fall and one going into 7th grade.

Welcome Coach Thomas!!!!
