It couldn't have been scripted any better for the CDH Varsity Boys Basketball Team, than to go all out and take down nationally ranked number 12 Minnehaha Academy 75-66 in front of over 5,000 fans at Hopkins High School on Saturday Night.

Behind outstanding performances from PG Tre Holloman '22, J'Vonne Hadley '20 and Curtis Jones '20, they defeated the Redhawks by a final 75-66 at the Mauer Chevrolet, Buick, GMC Tip-off classic at Hopkins High School.

The win springs CDH into conference play Tuesday when they host Stillwater.

CDH was led by Jones team high 19 points, Holloman added 17 points and 9 assists and Hadley 16 points and 4 blocks (3 of which were on 7 foot All-American Chet Holmgren)

The Raiders jumped out to an early and went into halftime with a 9 point lead, every time the Redhawks made one of their signature runs to pull within a few baskets CDH answered with timely shooting and suffocating defense that frustrated the nationally ranked Redhawks.

The Raiders executed their game plan to a "T" playing with poise and purpose all night as they continued to execute at a high level in an electric atmosphere.

Minnehaha was led by Jalen Suggs with 30 points and Holmgren and Prince Aligbe added 10 points each in the losing effort
