The Girls Swim and Dive team has had a solid year thus far, led by experienced returners and the arrival of newcomers to the program.

Currently, the Raiders are 2-2 in the Suburban East Conference. They have meets ahead with Forest Lake and White Bear Lake before heading into sectionals in two weeks. This year, CDH is in a new section competing against teams from Chisago Lakes, Mahtomedi, Henry Sibley, Hill-Murray, Minneapolis Roosevelt, Mounds Park Academy, St. Paul Como Park, St. Paul Johnson, St. Paul Washington/Humboldt, and Visitation.

Key contributors this year for the Raiders include senior captains Anneke van Oosterom ‘20, Chloe Schmidt ‘20, Eleanor Jablonic ‘20 and Sophie Clauson ‘20, their experience and leadership will put the Raiders in great position to contend for the section championship.

Leah Hausmann ‘22 and an 8th Grade Nativity student Molly Magnuson have provided a huge spark as well, both have very bright futures in the program.

“We look forward to competing in a new competitive section this year.” said Raider coach Shannon van Oosterom “Our regular season has prepared us well for this.”

The Raiders will compete in the Section 4A True Team Sectional Meet on October 12 at Skyview Middle School in Oakdale.
