2016 Varsity volleyball ended the season with a 19-5 record. Highlights from the season include having an undefeated season at home, coming back from 0-2 deficit to Hastings and winning in 5 sets during playoffs; as well as, winning the Apple Valley Varsity Volleyball Aerie Challenge. We lost to 2016 State Champions, Eagan, in the section final game to end the season.

The fee for 9th grade is $85 which includes a participation fee and purple /white jersey tops for games and spandex shorts. The fee for 10th, 11th and 12th is $50. This is a fee for participation to help cover some costs associated to the sport. These fees are paid through the online registration process.

Many CDH Volleyball Players play volleyball in the off-season through Junior Olympic Volleyball Programs. There are many programs to choose from. Please talk to your daughter's coach about the appropriate program for your daughter if you are interested.

Overview
The Cretin-Derham Hall Volleyball program consists of one team at the varsity, junior varsity, and B Squad levels. Typically, there have been three 9th grade teams consisting of 12 to 14 players. If the number of athletes trying out for the 9th grade team exceeds 14 players per team, the experience of learning and game situations will decrease for all involved and cuts may occur. Previous volleyball experience is necessary for those considering trying out for volleyball.
The Varsity volleyball season begins August 15th, 2016 and is 13 weeks in length with 17 regular season contests followed by playoffs. JV, B Squad, and ninth grade teams compete for 11 weeks with 17 dates of competition. Ninth Grade teams are allowed additional dates, and may have more than 17 dates of competition. When school is in session Volleyball practices ranges from 3:15 -5:30pm Mondays through Thursdays and 2:45-5:30pm on Fridays. There will be several weekend practices and tournaments for all levels.
